Carl Horton is passionate about dentistry and has travelled the world sharing his knowledge and lecturing extensively on treatment models and his pioneering research. After graduating from Birmingham Dental Hospital in 1996 Carl worked predominately in private general practice. He went on to complete an MSc in periodontology and implantology he now divides his time in several practices, alongside his teaching and mentoring.

Carl, who has lectured on international platforms in San Francisco, Gothenburg and Athens, also assists in the training of foundation stage dentists at Birmingham University, in both clinical practice and restorative procedures, as well as delivering postgraduate lectures. With a special interest in periodontology and treating patients with aesthetic concerns, his vast experience covers non-surgical and surgical aspects of periodontal care, implants, guided tissue regeneration and gingival grafting techniques to replace lost gum and bone.
