At Harborne Dental we are now taking on patient’s on a private basis. Working independently of the NHS allows us to offer a wider range of services. We are committed to providing the highest standard of patient care and support. We offer affordable general dentistry for you and your family including a range of Membership Plans.

Please don’t worry if its been a while since you attended your last dental check-up, we’ve all been guilty of avoiding the dentist chair at some point in our lives! We can carry out a thorough initial examination and get you back on track to good oral health!

Your first appointment

Before your first appointment, there is a little bit of admin' to do so as we ask all our new patients to fill out a Medical History Form prior to their appointment. This can be done quickly and easily online.

At your first appointment, you will spend 30 minutes with the dentist. They will carry out a complete assessment of your dental and oral health and discuss any treatment you may need with you.

The dentist may also take x-rays allowing us to provide you with a bespoke treatment plan.



When you experience dental pain or have sustained a dental injury all you want is someone to help. At Harborne Dental Practice we do our best to see all dental emergencies within 24 hours.


Nervous patients

Are you a little scared of the dental chair? Don't worry you are not alone, an estimated 13% of the people in the UK avoid regular dental appointments due to fear or unease. With advances in technology and treatments we can treat you pain-free in our relaxing Practice. Our friendly team will look after you and reassure you every step of the way.

Regular dental care

As well as brushing your teeth twice a day and flossing, you should visit your dentist regularly, this will allow us to spot any potential problems and we can treat them before they become too big.

At your routine check-up, you will have a thorough examination of your mouth including jaws, teeth, gums, surrounding areas and cancer screening.

If your examination reveals the presence of tooth decay, you may also have a filling in the affected tooth.

Our Membership Plan benefits include:

  • 2 regular dental appointments which provide a clinical examination, a check for oral cancer and routine x-rays when clinically necessary
  • 2 regular hygiene appointments to provide a scale and polish, periodontal advice, and Preventative techniques to reduce decay and gum disease.
  • All treatment planning for your future dental needs
  • All subsequent remedial work within 12 months of recommended restorative work
  • A discount on all laboratory based treatments ie crowns, bridges and dentures
